These include antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, flea, tick, and heartworm preventives, just to name a few. Herbal Medicine is an important part of integrative medicine. Herbs work together with acupuncture and diet changes to rebalance the system. Dr. Lee often uses Chinese Herbal Formulas, or combinations of herbs to address underlying root causes of disease. Most of these formulas have withstood the test of hundreds or even thousands of years. Through the years they have been modified as needed for best efficacy and safety. These are available by prescription only. On occasion, Dr. Lee also uses Western Herbs, either singly, or in combination with other herbs or formulas. We are careful to only source our herbals from the highest quality vendors. Over the counter herbals can contain poor quality herbs, substituted herbs, and/or contaminants.
